A new and original art form created by Elaine Woodhouse
“Transformed Playing Cards” is a new art form that is exciting artists, crafters and instructors alike. Classes are very popular and usually fill, often with repeat students. The technique is easy to learn and involves cutting the designs on the BACK of playing cards, rearranging and layering them to create 3D geometric images.
The idea was developed out of necessity! Elaine became obsessed with collecting playing cards with different designs on their backs. Over 50 different designs, and 2,000 cards later, she had to justify her collection and the space it was occupying.
Enthusiasm for these “Transformed Playing Cards” has been amazing, and unexpected! In response to customer demand, and because Elaine is unable to be in two places at the same time, we are offering MYSTERY PLAYING CARD packets. Each pack of playing cards includes 3 each of 4 different popular and unusual designs. They retail for $4.00. Brief general instructions are included. Create transformed cards and trade with friends!!!!
